Join your local community at the Gateway City Health Fest on Tuesday, April 10!
When: 6 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
6 p.m.—7 p.m Kickoff with Exhibitors and Zumba
Meet local health vendors and taste samples at the exhibitor tables, watch the first half of the Forks Over Knives documentary, or try a beginner Zumba class led by Dr. Rosa Kincaid.
Note: *6:15 p.m., the Zumba dance class will include a warm-up, several cardio songs, and a cool down in an adjacent room. The class will conclude by 6:45 p.m
7 p.m.—7:15 p.m.
Doctors Share How to "Kickstart Your Health"
Hometown hero, James Loomis, M.D., will share his inspirational success story, and then introduce guest speaker, Neal Barnard, M.D. who will give a brief “what you need to know” presentation on the power of food for health.
7:15 p.m.—8:45 p.m. Watch Forks Over Knives and Wrap Up with Exhibitors
Watch life-changing documentary, Forks Over Knives, featuring Dr. Neal Barnard, or continue meeting local health vendors and tasting samples at the exhibitor tables.
Note: *The Forks Over Knives screening will play in the main room and have subtitles to mitigate any background noise.
8:45 p.m.—9:00 p.m. Ask the Expert Finale
Dr. Loomis will lead a panel discussion of local health experts to answer your questions and wrap up the evening while Dr. Barnard signs books.
